Avoid washing your hair for the first 48 hours.
Allowing dyes to settle into your hair shaft will make the colour lasts longer! When your hair is bleached, it essentially means we have chemically opened up the cuticle layer to remove natural colour from your hair, and to allow colour to bond. They will slowly close back down in around 48 - 72 hours, once closed, colour and moisture are less likely to be washed away afterwards.
Avoid Swimming & Excessive sun exposure for the first week.
Chloride and UV will interfere with hair dye and make the colour changes. If you absolutely have to swim, wear a swim cap and SPF on your hair, thoroughly wash your hair after to prevent further damage.
Incorporate an Anti-Yellow Purple Shampoo to maintain your colour
[Essential for bleached hair, and or if you want to keep your hair colour "cool"]
When you first wash your hair, and at least twice a week after your colouring treatment, we recommend using an anti-yellow shampoo. As the dye can chemically react with the high content of minerals in hard water, to cause a brassy tone. Anti-yellow shampoo, contains purple pigments, helps neutralising orangey colour to maintain a cooler blonde or ashy tone. (Mind not to overuse, as it could make the hair look too cool or even purple.)

If you'd like to keep your hair "warm-ish", but not too yellowy or brassy; or if you've gone for a pinkish colour, you can consider pink toning shampoo instead. (Please be aware that if you use this on completely bleached out or really pale hair, hair will go pale rose-ish colour)

Avoid Heat and hot water, use lukewarm water.
Heat or hot water will cause hair cuticle to open up and lead to faster colour fading and increased dryness. To effective remove dirts, excess oil, and product buildup without being too harsh on your hair, 30C is ideal.
If you can limit the use of hair straighteners, or curling irons, that's great, please always use heat protectant before styling. For blow drying, try to keep the temperature on low settings.
Use a Sulfate-Free, Moisturising Shampoo; Conditioner; Leave In Conditioner or Hair Oil Daily:
Sulfates, or their variant such as SLS or SLES, although commonly used in many shampoos, they are not the best for dry, chemically treated, or fragile hair. As they can stripe your hair, removing too much natural oil. Just oil, not mineral buildup unfortunately.

Use a Clarifying Shampoo Occasionally, always finish with a Deep Conditioning Hair Mask to replenish lost moisture:
Unfortunately, where we are, the Southern part of England, is predominantly hard and extra hard water areas, meaning the water contains high levels of mineral such as Calcium, Magnesium, Iron and even Copper. Some of these minerals can react with shampoo to foam soap scum, and overtime, they will accumulate and suffocate your hair and scalp. Imagine there are insoluble invisible dots on your hair and scalp, when these dots slowly join together and become a "mask", they will block off absorption. Anti-yellow shampoo, or hair products can therefore be not as "effective". And course also be one of the triggers for hair loss as well.
On top, the high alkalinity in hard water can disrupt the hair's natural pH balance, causing hair to become dry, dull, brittle, heavy, fizz, and even change its texture. Sadly, these can also be part of the reasons or trigger that you're facing hair loss since the change of environment.
Removing mineral and metal buildup is like having a blank canvas, your first step towards healthy hair. The ideal solution would be rinsing with filtered water or install a water softener.
However, these might not be practical in some cases. We therefore highly recommend using Clarifying Shampoo at least once a month. You can do this at home or with us, at The Tabula Rasa Salon. Schedule Regular Trims:
Regular trims every 6-8 weeks can keep bleached ends healthy and free of split ends. This helps maintain the shape of their style and the overall health of their hair.

1. 請頭染髮後等候至少48小時才洗頭

4. 避免熱水和高溫,用微溫水沖洗
高溫或熱水會打開頭髮角質層,導致顏色快速褪色並增加乾燥程度。如想有效去除污垢、多餘的油脂和產品殘留,30℃是理想溫度。
如果您能減少使用直髮器或捲髮棒,那是最理想的,並請在造型前務必使用防熱產品。吹乾時,建議保持在低溫設置。
5. 每日使用無硫酸鹽(Sulphate Free)、保濕洗髮水、護髮素、免沖洗護髮素或頭髮油**

9. 定期修剪
每6到8週修剪一次可保持漂染的髮尾健康並防止分叉,減少脫髮,這有助於維持髮型的形狀及整體頭髮的健康。
